Get More Engagement On Social Media

There are a lot of articles, blogs and tips floating around concerning social media, how to grow your audience, makes more sales, and the list goes on and on. This is not one of those. This is however, a very simple fix to a problem that many of us have as business owners on social media. Especially as it pertains to Facebook.

As I've mentioned previously, we are a Social Media Management agency here in KC and serve clients all across the US. What I'm about to tell you may shock you, so prepare yourself. Your fans and followers want to see you, your employees and those you serve. I know, crazy right?!?

The data speaks for itself and really all you have to do is take a look at your post that have people vs. the ones that don't. I think it's safe to say that the engagement levels are significantly different. I'm constantly amazed at the number of larger companies who never post a single picture of their staff, employees or leadership.

That is the very first thing we try to educate our clients on. Be personal with your business and you will get followers. Don't be afraid to show people what goes on in your office or shop. Question, do you like seeing behind the scenes photos and videos? More than likely you do, and guess does everyone else. So, as a business owner, you should be happy to share that kind of content with your fans.

Don't believe me. Look at one of your competitors pages. Go ahead. See which posts performed the best. 9 times out of 10, it had a person in it. The truth is, Facebook and almost all social media is designed around one central theme...brace yourself...people. So, if you want to boost your engagement and connect with your audience, take a selfie or a picture of your employees and most importantly, have some fun! :)
